“Down by the river where everybody goes to be alone, we will run.”
I was entranced by Obel’s “Riverside.” It is both sweetly and darkly melodic as it paints a picture that is both serene and schizophrenic. The combination is seductive. I find myself wanting to run as part of a “we” in a place where everyone goes “to be alone.”
Can isolation and community be found in the same place? According to Agnes, it can.
