What is love? Love for someone is holding hands with that very special person, it is going to a very special dinner or simply just going to the amusement park with someone. Anyways all these things are important to a person but the Bible describes love in a perfect way. In the book of 1st corinthians 13:4-7 it says Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no records of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever truth wins out. Love never gives up never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Now we don’t always do what the bible tells us to do. We sometimes hold a grudge of what someone did centuries ago, or we get irritable whenever we are corrected, or we keep records of wrongs that someone did to us long time ago. But you know what none of things matter as long as we let go and forgive those who did wrong to us. God loves us just the way we are and he wants us to have a special relationship with him. But we have to realize that we are also wrong by keeping grudges and not letting go of those who wronged us. We have to give them a chance to be forgiven by us.
Do you know that we are wrong as well when we don’t give those who wronged us? Well, How? We have sinned because in the lord’s prayer it says “forgive us our trepasses as we forgive those who has trepassed against us”. Look at the book of Matthew 6:12. We are sinning when we don’t forgive the people that have wronged us.
This how important for God to remember us that he cares if we are timid and shy or brave and courageous. He loves us so much.
