It’s hard to believe that we’re entering our sixth month as California residents.  I think we are finally getting past “vacation” mode and feeling more settled in to our community. There is just so much to do nearby it’s so hard to fight the urge to hop in the car every weekend for a mini road trip/family outing.

My new role as a “stay-at-home” mom / “work-at-home” mom is a constant battle.  My biggest challenge is time management and realizing the only time to do anything work related is 5 am when you have a toddler.  My days are fun but extremely exhausting.  I don’t remember ever feeling so sore and tired each night as I crawl into bed when I worked full-time in an office.  I literally close my eyes and wake up the next morning.
