The Quest for Gamjatang

The weather’s been cold and gloomy lately and I find myself craving for gamjatang. This reminded me of a Dongdaemun Market shopping trip a few months ago.

Dongdaemun market is a huge strip of shopping centers and traditional market, which made it popular to tourists and locals alike.

Mouthwatering street food! Our favorite is that potato corn dog.

Bought a bag of warm Hodo Kwaja, little walnut shaped cakes usually filled with red bean and walnuts.

Not sure if we bought anything else in the area. It was a bit late when we arrived there and we’re kind of starving. It was a chilly night and we needed something warm. My mom suggested gamjatang and so we went ahead, scouring the streets and alleys, looking for this certain gamjatang place.

At last, we found the place! We wasted no time and ordered fast.
